No, you can't choose your effective date. Your plan is effective on the 1st of the month following the month in which you enroll. Check your inbox in a few days to find your welcome email and your Member ID. That’s when you can schedule your appointment!
Your benefits are available for use for twelve months, so you can use the allowance all at once, or throughout the year.
